Dark in colour with bright black cherry and blackberry aromas, baking spices and a hint of chocolate. The palate opens with soy, tobacco and cedar before dense, rounded layers of black fruit take over — plum, blueberry, and a thread of liquorice. Silky tannins, well-balanced acidity, and a velvety texture that carries through to a long finish. From the Rutherford benchlands of Napa Valley, where the estate has been producing classically structured Cabernet since 1980.
