Dramatically dark — compact, muscular black fruit on the nose with a real sense of dense, sweet intensity. Black cherry and blackcurrant ripeness on the palate, smooth, full and beautifully composed, with svelte, chocolaty tannins and a sweet edge to the fruit before a gentle but perfectly judged acidity. A joint venture from three of the Northern Rhône's leading winemakers — Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard. The 2005 is one of the best vintages of this cuvée.
