Rich and meaty in the best Nuits-Saint-Georges tradition — darker fruit, coffee, tobacco, leather and zesty spice, with echoes of sweet stewed herbs. The 2009 vintage brought warmth and generosity, and this old-vines cuvée has been drinking beautifully from the start with a softly tannic, velvety palate impression. Still going strong with no signs of fading. Domaine Chevillon is one of the great names of the appellation.
