White Wine
Domaine de Chevalier Blanc 2004, 2004
€75.00
Dense and sappy with terrific lemony cut, this white Bordeaux delivers lime, honeysuckle and grapefruit with a firm spicy backbone. Robert Parker scored it 95 points and noted it tasted years younger than its age, with another two to three decades of life ahead — a remarkable testament to the longevity these whites achieve. Only around 18,000 bottles are produced annually, making it genuinely scarce. Olivier Bernard's estate is one of just six in Bordeaux classified for both colours, and the whites have long been considered among the region's finest.
