Red Wine
Château Haut-Batailley, 2014
€64.95
Tightly wound and elegant, this Pauillac opens with ripe blackberry and bilberry alongside graphite and mint. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp dark fruit, cedar and sleek minerality — focused and beautifully structured with impressive length. Now squarely in its drinking window, the tannins have resolved into something genuinely charming. This was made under the Borie family's watch before the 2017 sale to the Cazes family of Lynch-Bages — a snapshot of a different era at this Fifth Growth estate.
