Multi-layered aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Luscious black fruits on the palate with waves of cumin, cocoa, liquorice, cedar and mint leaf. Filigree tannins and perfectly pitched acidity give it both presence and weightlessness — the tension is outstanding with incredibly long persistence. The 2016 is one of the finest vintages from this Deuxième Cru Classé, made in their new gravity-fed winery completed in 2015.
