Chateau La Bretonniere Grand Vin Blanc Stephane Heurlier
€21.95
On a terroir of Graves, Sauvignon and Sémillon wonderfully express their full potential. Emotion, finesse and complexity characterize this wine which has the makings of the greatest. With its notes of citrus and candied fruit (apricot), hazelnuts, gingerbread and honey, it is very fat, very fine, elegant and very long in the mouth. Wine is light straw yellow in colour with aromas of peach and flowers in the nose. The attack is smooth, quite lively evolving on fat and a long and automatic finish in the mouth. : 50% Sauvignon Gris, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Sémillon: 12.5% Terroir: 70% gravel with sand on clay, 30% clay-limestone. Vine age 30 years It will be served as an aperitif or with gourmet cuisine, in particular scallops, fish in sauce, fatty oysters, foie gras, cheeses… To be decanted to get the best of the wine, serve between 10 and 13 °. Cheers!
