Saint-Estèphe – Cru Bourgeois The wine is vinified using traditional Bordeaux methods. It develops subtle tannins and fruity flavours. An elegant wine, very typical of the Saint Estèphe appellation.
Remarkable success for this vintage with a 2012 which begins timidly on the nose, before opening up with aeration on pleasant scents of blackcurrant and candied blackberry, chocolate and toasted stave. At the same time fine, ample and powerful, the palate leans on solid and tight tannins which carry far the finish and will ensure a good guard. A wine well in the tone of the appellation. 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, 25% Cabernet franc
