The vineyard, 100% Merlot, is located in the south of southern Ardèche, in the towns of Cruzières. Made from plot selections, the soils are clay-limestone and marl with a hot and dry Mediterranean climate, cool nights that allow the wine to keep freshness despite its power. Very garrigue, spices, mineral notes, a delicate, distinctive bitter note. Pleasantly earthy for merlot but like others this has no tannin to support the structure that is there. Nice wine with aroma’s of black berry and mature red fruit. Nice tannins.
