Quinta Do Tedo, Vintage 2003

66.00

In 1992, Vincent Bouchard and his wife Kay Steffe’s dream became real, as they became the happy owners of Quinta do Tedo. They set up the 250-year-old vineyard, and began to do what they loved most to make port wine with great empathy and passion. Quinta do Tedo has already become a house that year after year wins awards and recognition around the world. Vincent grew up in Burgundy, (Bouchard pere et fills), where his grandfather taught him the art of making wine from scratch. Vincent’s success is due in particular to his Burgundy education, with respect for the fruit, the fragrance and the elegance. The wines are made from the best grapes (class A), carefully selected by himself and his oenologist. Quinta do Tedo has been certified ECO since 2010.
The port wines are fermented on the natural yeast, with only using a minimum of added sulfur.

Colour: Deep ruby with purple hints.
Aroma: Aromas of black fruit (blackberry, blackcurrant), cassis, blueberry and plum. Notes of rock rose and burnt chocolate. Very complex.
