In 1992, Vincent Bouchard and his wife Kay Steffe’s dream became real, as they became the happy owners of Quinta do Tedo. They set up the 250-year-old vineyard, and began to do what they burned, namely good port wine. With great empathy, passion, greasy and lots of love, Quinta do Tedo has already become a house that year after year wins awards and recognition around the world. 
Vincent grew up in Burgundy, (Bouchard pere et fills), where his grandfather taught him the art of making wine from scratch. Vincent’s success is due in particular to his Burgundy education, with respect for the fruit, the fragrance and the elegance. The wines are made from the best grapes (class A), carefully selected by himself and his oenologist, Jorge Alves. Quinta do Tedo, as previously mentioned, has been certified ECO in 2010. It does not appear from the back labels that all wine in the cellar MUST be younger than 2010, so it requires an extra cellar. The port wines are fermented on the natural yeast, and only a minimum of sulfur is added, and otherwise nothing else. SO clean and nice port wines you can’t find anywhere else!

Colour: Dark ruby.
Aromas: Black fruit (blackberry), raspberry and mint, notes of wet shale.
Mouth: Good structure and concentration; generous, complex, intense; great balance between alcohol, sugar and body; firm texture and good weight in middle palate with long, precise finish.
Suggestions: Drink now or age to 2022-2025. Open 30 minutes before serving at 15°C/59°F.
Enjoy with: Flourless chocolate cakes and cheeses.
