Mas des Chimeres, Caminarem
€25.95
After 12 years of a single Coteaux du Languedoc (from 1993 to 2005), it takes advantage of the opportunity of the hierarchy to push further the identity of wines by making a wine terraces Larzac, (today Caminarèm ) which gathers in equal quantity: Cinsault, Carignan, Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah. Especially since in recent years the winemaker had the opportunity to buy or rent very old vines of Cinsault and Carignan. Drive without weeding or chemical fertilizer, they seek to deepen the expression of my terroir, relying on traditional southern grape varieties and confirms its identity.
Always with indigenous yeasts without bonding or filtration.
Rich cassis, juicy berries on nose, touch of black olive. Not the most complex but very nice purity of fruit. Medium body, fresh with robust tannins.
