Sommets de Rasteau, Domaine Martin
€25.75
The brothers David and Eric Martin are installed since 2005 on the family estate, created in 1905 from 5 ha on the Plan de Dieu. They currently exploit 70 ha of vines, mainly in Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-pape.
Fifty years of Grenache (55%) and Syrah vines, planted on the heights of Rasteau, are at the origin of this wine which requires a small rotation of the glass to release its peppery and fruity aromas. On the palate, a pleasant roundness gives it a greedy and affable style, with in the end a tannin grain tighter that confirms its identity Rasteau. High in lightning.
