Clos De Gamot, Clos Saint-Jean

Clos Saint Jean is a limestone hillside vineyard of 1 ha. We selected four rootstocks implanted according to the study of soils, on which we grafted Auxerrois or Three-generation Malbec from the Clos de Gamot vineyards. The plot is vinified in small vats in order to conserve to the maximum the specificities of the soil. The vatting is of the order from 3 to 5 weeks. The gentle winding work is privileged to obtain a harmonious structure of the cuvée.
Dress: intense black, with purple highlights
Nose: blackcurrant, black fruit, violet
Palate: very rich, the grape, very beautiful material with minerality
Gourmet suggestion: Paris-style tournedos, prime rib with salt Guérande, tab with shallot
