Chateau La Bretonniere Excellence

The “Excellence” cuvée is the pure expression of our richest and most complex terroirs.
Its colour is of a beautiful garnet intensity. This wine offers a complex bouquet, rich in ripe red fruits and chocolate and roasted notes.

These are basically Bordeaux superior wines which are not particularly expected too much. Indeed, the nose of cherries was charming but simple. Cherries on the tongue, acidity a bit high with lots of flint and a slight hint of liquorice. A hint of meat as well. Finish was very long but not a particularly pleasant one.
