Chateau Tour de Guiet Bourgeau

Blend:  More than 80% Merlot, remainder Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. Aging: Mainly in stainless steel vats, partially in French oak barrels. Tasting: This big, sexy, plump Côtes de Bourg is undeniably a winner of the vintage. Dark purple colour, the character is young and floral with hints of violet, dark berries and spices. The palate is concentrated with a good balance and a long finish. Tips: Great on its own or with white or red meats

Structured wine with a severe edge from the dry, concentrated tannins. It’s serious, stalky fruit layered with a more juicy element and tight acidity. The wine does need aging to soften its austere character.
