Chateau Siaurac, Lalande De Pomerol MAGNUM ’11
€71.95
Chateau Siuarac, along with sister properties Chateau Prieure and Chateau Vray Croix de Gay, has been owned by the Guichard family since the 19th Century. Siaurac has a reputation for being one of the very best properties in Lalande de Pomerol. Plaisir de Siuarac is the estate’s second wine and is made in an earlier-drinking style with ripe, rounded fruit and supple tannins.
Matured for 14 months in both vats and French oak barrels with 25% new oak. Black cherry and spice on the nose. A full-bodied, generously-juicy and very quaffable wine with great structure. It is easy to drink and goes extremely well with red meats, Sunday roasts and the promise of shared and extended pleasures. Medium bodied, and ready to go, with its forward, soft textured, open, round, dark red berries, liquorice and espresso character. It is already close to peak.
This bottle is Magnum (1500ml) size!
