Chateau Lynch Bages
€145.00
The vines of Lynch-Bages are planted to 73% of Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% of Merlot, 10% of Cabernet Franc, and 2% of Petit Verdot. A new vineyard was planted in 1988 to the traditional white grapes of Bordeaux and produces the Blanc de Lynch-Bages. A huge vat room containing 35 vats of different sizes allows for individual vinification of each plot or uniform batch of grapes. The great quality of Château Lynch-Bages is its extraordinary homogeneity. A forceful wine of great breed and bouquet, it gains in focus vintage after vintage, combining distinctiveness with the hedonistic style which is its trademark. Made mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon, it combines structure and finesse, elegance and longevity, and is also distinctively opulent. Generous from the start, it develops more flavours and complexity as it matures.
