Chateau Bouscaut, Grand Cru Classe De Graves

A dark purple colour. The nose is rounded and plump, very fruit driven juicy with scents of blackcurrant, cassis, iodine and vanilla. Modern but well defined and pure. You assume the palate is going to be opulent and voluptuous, but actually it is very well defined, with fine tannins, a sense of symmetry and poise. The finish is long and persistent, nothing over the top with fine minerality tingling on the back palate. Lovely.
