Cantine Pellegrino, Marsala, Semi-Secco

A semi dry 18% Marsala made with the addition of grape must from the Pellegrino family. It has a nice amber colour and aromas of overripe golden apples, vanilla, dry hay, orange zest, creme caramel. Intensive rich flavour of oak, species and roasted nuts, strong in taste with a hint barely perceivable flavours of porcini and moss. You feel the alcohol on top of your mouth and a very slight flavour floating almost like a mist over your tongue. Sicilian sun concentrated in a glass.
