Ardeche Syrah Basalte du Coiron
Derived from cooled lava born from ancient volcanic eruptions in the Massif du Coiron, basalt offers a favorite terroir for extracting the quintessence of Syrah in Ardèche.
The plots are strictly selected on shallow soils with yields limited to 30/40 hls per hectare. The harvest is carried out at optimal maturity of the grapes, followed by a long vatting period of around 15 days to 3 weeks in order to extract a beautiful tannic structure while maintaining a silky character.
