Yalumba, Y-series Riesling

The Riesling label depicts the olive tree. It is said, where grapes thrive and prosper so too do the olive trees. When you consider the grape growing regions of South Australia, it is very true.

The 2016 Y Series Riesling is green straw in colour with opening aromas of orange blossom and rose petals, followed by hints of lime zest and pear flesh. The palate is moreish with flavours of pithy grapefruit, early season pineapple and granny smith apples. The finish on the wine is fleshy and zesty with a mouth-watering chalkiness.
Enjoy with chicken dumplings or spicy guacamole and corn chips.
