Vignerons Ardechois, Orelie, Blanc

14.95

The vines are located in the South-Eastern part of the South of Ardeche. They are planted on gentle and arid slopes, made up of limestone and granite sandstone soils. The climate is typically Mediterranean. The Sauvignon grapes are harvested at technological maturity. Traditional winemaking techniques are implemented such as pressing and racking. Its fermentation temperature is well mastered at 14°C to preserve freshness and aromas. This wine boasts a shiny and limpid yellow-green robe. It boasts a very pleasant nose with floral (acacia) and grassy characteristics (boxwood) mixed with citrus aromas (grapefruit, lemon). This balance reappears on the palate with good harmony between the fruit and the wine’s light structure and suppleness. This is a round and slightly effervescent wine.

It can be served as an aperitif or as starters, with fish-based appetizers or seafood terrines. This wine is great with a buffet, as well as chicken or fish skewers.
