Pffafl Weinviertel DAC, Hommage Reserve

52.45

From ancient vines in Grossebersdorf and partly from a selection of Haidviertel comes this Grüner Veltliner that wants to be understood as a homage to its grape variety. Rich pineapple fruit and a little bit of blood orange, superior maturity, very concisely, both origins appear to complement each other perfectly. On the palate some tobacco and spice,
extractful, it‘s definitely the Burgundian direction and demonstrates the advantage of our leading grape variety. All of the winemaker’s knowledge and experience are invested in this wine. And not only the wine, but also the label carries his signature. This is his personal tribute to Grüner Veltliner and his career as a vintner. This wine is comprised of only the best fruit from the oldest vines on the Grossebersdorfer Kirchenberg with hand-selected fruit from the Haidviertel to lend it refreshing balance. It was fermented spontaneously in a large acacia cask and left on the fine lees for two months. The HOMMAGE is definitely their greatest Grüner Veltliner.
