Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine Sur Lie, Domaine Le Fief De La Brie

An attractive white with crisp acidity that is ideal with seafood. The wine is aged on its lees, or sediment, for six months to impart more body to the wine. The grapes come from François Bonhomme’s finest vineyard.

Colour is almost clear, pale creamy yellow. Nose got a tiny bit of fruit but definitely fresh salty air. Palate was fruity to start with, then grapefruit or sharp apple. Then you get a creamy yeast like taste which is very smooth and takes all the acidity and fruity flavor away, It is quite pleasant. The finish is a little salty after that creamy dosing. It is very easy to drink with curry. It will be down to personal preference if you like this.
