Mas des Chimeres, Cuvee Marie et Joseph

17.50

“The Cuvée Marie and Joseph are born from the desire to know more about these old so much maligned and maltreated vines, which are the oldest vines of Languedoc and of which we have the oldest vines (between 30 and 90 years).” – G. Dardé, winemaker

In principle, it’s a pure carignan. It is a slightly rustic wine with a marked character. It has been vinified so that it can be drunk in 3 to 4 years. It is an autumn wine, game, mushrooms, chestnuts …

Intense purple color, open nose on blackberry, blueberry, cherry, gooseberry, licorice and other spices. The palate is supple with texture, fruity, long with nice freshness. There is some bilberry finish, fresh and tart.
