Tinorso Rosso toscana I.G.T. Poggio Capponi
This wine comes from Merlot and Syrah vineyards that grow on calcareous and clayey soils of medium texture of the Montespertoli hills, in Tuscany. The system of breeding of these vineyards is low spurred cordon. To increase the quality of the product we limit the production of vines in the vineyards of the Tinorso.
The grapes, after a 20-day maceration, complete the malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, where it remains in maturation for 12 to 18 months. Then the wine is bottled and is refined in the bottle lying down for about 6 months.
