E.Guigal, Vignes De L’Hospice St.-Joseph

75.95

This wine comes from a monopoly grouping the contiguous florets of the Appellations Saint-Joseph of the former Domaine Jean-Louis GRIPPAT and VALLOUIT. It is the unique expression of the most impressive and exclusive hillside of the Saint-Joseph Appellation.

Visual : Dark red dress.
Olfactory : Complex nose dominated by black fruits and delicate aromas of new wood. The nose is powerful and intense.
Taste : The attack on the palate is powerful. The tannins are powerful but remain fine and elegant.
Together : Coming from a geological formation similar to the famous Bessards hill in Hermitage, this Saint-Joseph has the finesse of its Appellation and the power of its neighbor facing the river.
