Domaine Girard, Pinot Noir

18.95

The Girard estate, located in the municipality of Alaigne in the heart of the Malepère appellation, benefits from the altitude, a Mediterranean micro-climate with oceanic influence and splendid exhibitions that allow it to produce very characteristic wines. Winemakers for 4 generations, the Domaine Girard, which today comprises nearly 30 hectares, has always favored the spirit of terroir and quality. The vines are grown in sustainable viticulture.

Plot “Pech Calvel”, about ten years old, exposed on a hillside Northwest oriented at 350 m altitude. Out of respect for the environment, vines are cultivated in Viticulture Reasoned. The field has been able to adopt techniques to limit yields and to improve the quality of its production. Harvesting is done manually at the optimum of maturity, transport is carried out in crates so as to limit crushing.
