The 2017 Sauvignon Blanc is intense and vibrant. The nose is open, appealing and expressive, with ripe passionfruit, white peach and a hint of lime. Fresh and vibrant on the nose, with aromatics of bright citrus, kaffir lime, orchard blossoms and passion fruit. The palate is concentrated and mouth-watering, with juicy stone fruit and subtle tropical characters underpinned by a fine minerality and Meyer lemon acidity, nectarine and blossoms. Saline notes bring structure, while passionfruit and vibrant citrus acidity bring balance. The compelling finish encourages you to take another sip, and then another. It also hints at the rewards of keeping a bottle aside for a future special event – if you can wait, that is.
