Chateau Chaigneau

22.95

Lux, deep black plum color in the glass. Aromas are apparent as soon as the cork is popped. Bouquet of cloves, steel, prunes, blackberries. Bright, lively acidity, fruit-forward, with stewed and fresh plums. Quite tangy, and mouthwatering. Young and fresh. Some mild earth, eucalyptus, and sage, with a mildly mealy mouth feel. Finish is short in flavor and long in texture- the mouth keeps a refreshing zing like after mouth wash. Medium body, low tannins. Pair with dried and smoked meats, sun dried tomatoes.
